monstrance As a contemplative Order, our daily life centers around prayer. We pray the entire Divine Office together, which is composed of seven "Hours"- Matins, Lauds, Tierce, Sext, None, Vespers and Compline (or in English: Office of Readings, Morning Prayers, Mid-Morning Prayer, Mid-Day Prayer, Mid-Afternoon Prayer, Evening Prayer, and Night Prayer).

We also have daily Mass, as well as Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and private meditation and prayer times. In between times we go about our household chores, answer mail, and go about the works we do to support the financial needs of the monastery - never, though, going more than a few hours before being called back into prayer.
